Using pressurised oil as the driving fluid provides powerful and smooth actuator control and isolates the cylinder from pipeline gas. The compact, modular gas control manifolds employ poppet style control valves – a reliable design trusted throughout the industry – and are available in fail-safe versions.
GO actuators are suitable for use in some of the most demanding environments in the world. The design, engineering and materials used in the construction of GO actuators ensure optimum performance even in the harshest of environments. Control configurations are available to meet virtually any operational requirements and there is a comprehensive range of high pressure control logic options.
Key design features:
- Controls are designed to operate at full pipeline pressure, eliminating possible pressure regulator failure
- Modular and compact integrated manifold design reduces fittings and potential leakage
- Low or high-pressure control logic options
- Local control via lever-operated poppet valves on the multi-function manifold
- PED or ASME approved gas/oil and power gas storage tanks
- Speed control in both directions as standard
- Manual hand pump can operate the actuator in case of pneumatic supply pressure loss
- Stainless steel pressure gauge can measure gas supply pressure with psi/bar scale
- Stroke time is adjusted via two hydraulic flow control valves providing smooth and precise speed control
Output Performance:
Part-turn valve application up to 600 000 Nm torque (5 300 000 lbf.in)
Linear Valves up to 5 500 000 N thrust (5 500 kN) (1 236 450 lbf.)
Torque or Thrust ranges exceeding above ones are available. Upon request please ask for our special offer

ATEX / IECEx II 2G Ex e, de, ia IIB T4 IP65 as standard for European sites or
UL/ CSA Class I, Div 1, C and D Group Nema 3 standard for American and Canadian sites or
Class II, Div 1, E - F - G Nema 3 Groups- // - For deviations from above Classes, please ask for our offer
Gas/ Oil storage tanks:
Raw material of tanks: High pressure rated (PED/ ASME VIII Div.1) externally painted CS (carbon steel)
By dip stick and removable oil filter
Manual Override (Hand pump Override):
Rated volume and effort are chosen to suit actuator and valve' performance requirement
Selector valves to permit local operation
Dual Hand Pumps between GO tanks, eliminating possible leakage
Flow Control valves are responsible for stroke time setting at each direction (open/ close)
Control & Indication:
Local or remote control is possible as stated as follows:
Locally - by levers in the gas block OR by soleonid valves (when they are present)
Remotly - via control room by soleonid valves - 1 pc for OPEN + 1 pc for CLOSE
Manual Override is available - via 2 pcs of hand pumps - 1 pc for OPEN + 1 pc for CLOSE
Open Inhibitor - DP (differential pressure) that exceeds normal range
Low Pressure Close - automatic in case of pressure drops below preset point
Electric ESD - Special ESD soleonid in circuit - in case of power loss, actuator moves to fail safe position
Pneumatic Line Break - automatic closing when pressure drop is greater than set point
Electronic Line Break - Comprehensive Monitoring System includes the following configurations:
RoD and RoR (Rate of Pressure Drop/ Pressure Rise)
PSL (low pressure)/ PSH (High Pressure) - Open/ Close set
High differential Inhibit - requires 2 pcs of pressure sensors (upstream/ downstream)
PSD - Process Shut Down - option to override all other function
PST - Partial Stroke Test (work cycle at preset % of valve travel)
Manual Reset - after any ESD operation
