Main features:

RH actuators are designed for some of the most challenging valve actuation applications on earth. They are an excellent choice for the demanding requirements and adverse conditions found in applications for mining and offshore.

The balanced design has a very compact footprint for a given output. Output torque to 700,000 Nm (6,200,000 lbf.in). Units with output torque higher than 700,000 Nm (6,200,000 lbf.in) are available upon request.

• Standard rotation 90° (+/-5°)
• Totally enclosed weatherproof housing
• Carbon steel construction
• Electroless nickel-plated cylinders with redundant piston seals
• Double acting with four hydraulic cylinders
• Dual rack design
• Female input shaft allows direct mounting to valve topworks

Maximum Operating Pressure ("MOP"):

For low pressure application: up to 120 bar(g) - safety factor: x 1,50

For high pressure up to 207 bar(g) - safety factor based on: ASME VIII Div.1 -regulations

Safety factors that deviate from concerning standards - should be informed by manufactuer

Output torque ranges:

Up to even 700 000 Nm (700 kNm; 6 200 000 lbf.in)

Higher rates should be double checked by manufacturer

Ambient temperature:

Standard range: -30 .. +100 °C

High temperature designs: -20 .. +100 °C

Low temperature designs: -40 .. +100 °C

Type Codes - by following sequence:

R - "Rack and pinion" type actuator

H - Hydraulic override solution

Size of Center body: e.g.: 015, 030, .. , 250, 280

Size of working fluid cylinder (e.g.: 045)

Ambient temperature range: 

F - by standard temperature range

G - by high temperature range 

H - by low temperature range 

L - by extremely low temperature range 

Cylinder and spring cartridge' disposal:

Check in related brochures and/or ask our offer for it (e.g.: D2 - double acting by 2 pcs of cylinders, or C0:C9 - Single acting (-spring return type) by close safety position
