RC-DA double acting pneumatic actuator:

The pistons work with a scotch-yoke mechanism together - pistons move due to inside fluid (instrument air) pressure at both direction.

Applying a scotch-yoke mechanism it produces an U-shaped output torque characteristic- that means torques are highest at each end position (at 0° and 90°) and it is the lowest at midpoint.

Most important features

Small physical sizes and meantime quite high output performance up to 4 400 Nm (39 000 lbf in)

Manual Override option (RC-DAM) optimize the required installation place/ enables locking either open or close position

These RC-actuators can perform higher output torque by their scotch-yoke design comparing with rack-and-pinion mechanism in case of air supply and physical sizes are the same meantime.

Output mounting interface at the bottom of the cylinders by F05/F07 (RC210)-F12/F16 (RC280) ranges

Operating time: between 0,3-5 sec (in case of air supply by 6,0 bar(g)) - these actuators are ideal choices for smaller ESD quarter-turn valves even in hazardous enviroment.
