The Rotork CVL linear, electric process control actuator, offers a highly accurate and responsive method of automating control valves, without the complexity and cost of a pneumatic supply. With an increased focus on production costs and efficiency, accurate control of product through the pipeline is paramount. With resolution figures better than 0.1% and the ability to eliminate position overshoot, the Rotork CVL helps to maximise product quality and plant capacity.

Used advanced technology for CVA (CVL and CVQ) range:


1. Dual Sensor technology - 2 pcs of independent position sensors (encoders) by 0,1% accuracy of sensing

2. User Interface - can communicate by free downloadable software and feedback e.g. test run measurments + Rotary selector on the top of actuator by STOP/ RUN/ TEST modes and by flashing LED in the centre of knob selector - by flashing Green/ Red/ Blue

3. Power Supply/ Fail to position - 100-240 VAC 1 phase or DC option; fail to safe mode by reserve powerpack consisted of supercapacitors

4. DC brushless motor - high efficency, brushless DC motor allows for maintenance free operation even by modulation duty

5. Hand Drive - Available both for part-turn or linear actuators

6. Terminal Bung Double sealing - double sealing inside terminal cover/ the 2nd line segregates the terminal from main enclosure so that water ingress is not possible/ As standard 4 pcs of conduit entries on each CVA

7. Geartrain - High efficiency spur gear drive by lifetime lubrication

8. Anti back-drive Mechanism - resistance against back-drive forces from the valve and up to 125% of rated force among normal condition

9.  Output Drive - CVL may be adapted for individual valves (not always confirm with ISO 5210/ 5211 or MSS SP-101/102
