Industrial valve actuators

Product code:

NOAHROTEH

Short description:

Configuration

The Rotork Noah electric actuators are part of Rotork PLC’s industrial automation portfolio, providing electrically operated valve actuation for industrial applications. These actuators feature a compact, robust, water- and corrosion-resistant design and are available in various operating modes (linear, quarter-turn or spring-return) to ensure safe, reliable and precise valve control in a wide range of industrial environments.

The Rotork Noah is a family of electric actuators (electric valve actuators) designed for industrial valve control, for example in oil, gas, water, chemical and power generation systems. In 2025, Rotork acquired the South Korean company Noah Actuation, integrating the product range into the Rotork portfolio.

Key features

  • Multiple configurations: The Noah range includes linear, quarter-turn and spring-return actuators, allowing flexible use with various valve and damper types.
  • Robust industrial design: Housings are made of aluminium alloy with IP67 protection as standard or optional IP68 protection against dust and water; explosion-proof versions are also available for certain models.
  • Control and communication: Support for local control via switches/control units, with optional communication modules (Modbus, Profibus, HART, etc.) for integration into automated systems.
  • Safety and reliability: Built-in thermal and torque protection, mechanical limit switches, and manual override for operation during power failure are standard features.
  • Accuracy and control: Advanced models offer proportional control, visual position indication and even supercapacitor-based solutions for safe closing operations without external power supply.
  • Wide range of applications: Suitable for simple open/close duties as well as modulating (proportional) control, and compatible with various valve and damper types (e.g. ball valves, butterfly valves).

Application areas

  • Water and wastewater treatment
  • Chemical and oil & gas systems
  • Power generation and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems
  • Industrial process control
